Master Bedroom with on suite - 196 sq ft - $700/m (My room for the last 7 years)
I just moved from the master bedroom of one house where I rent 3 rooms to the basement of recently acquired 2nd house a block away where I also rent 3 rooms. How many landlords do you know who have actually lived in one of the rooms they rent? Room and bathroom are freshly painted!
No smoking inside the house and no pets.
House is fully furnished and bedroom can be upon request. Price includes gas, water, heat, hydro and internet. No cable or phone. Basic consumables such as Toilet paper, paper towel, dish and laundry soap, cleaning supplies are also included in rent. Who else does that? Parking available. House has Air Conditioning, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 fridges, small chest freezer, BBQ, back yard/patio, 5TB Home Media Server and, 2 large screen TVs with suround sound and a Hot Tub! Who else has 2.5 baths and 2 fridges for 4 people? 1 year lease that moves to month to month with 2 months notice required. The room is not available if you cannot meet in person or are looking for a lease less than a year. A posted cleaning schedule alternates between the 4 roomates on a weekly basis. 10 min walk to South Keys transit station. Using an 8am Monday morning departure time it would take 19 min to Carleton, 27 to Ottawa U, 32 to Rideau Centre and 42 to Algonquin. Also 10 minute walk from 3 malls which include (plus lots more):
